Pat Gephart

Pat is originally from Pennsylvania and has been snowboarding for over 22 years. Honing his skills in the half pipes and parks of the icy east coast, he eventually migrated west and has called Breckenridge, CO his home for the last 10 years. Pat discovered splitboarding in 2014 and has pursued it relentlessly ever since, spending a great amount of time exploring the great ranges of Colorado. He has climbed and splitboarded mountains all over the west, including descents from the summit of Denali via the West Buttress, Ford/Stettner on the Grand Teton and the Fuhrer Finger on Mt. Rainier. Pat is also a passionate climber and mountain runner. He guides part-time on his splitboard for Colorado Adventure Guides each winter and is driven by the ever evolving learning process that is required while in the backcountry.

Pat loves to share his passions with others. Since switching to the Phantom system and Slipper hardboots, Pat has found improved performance on both the uphill and downhill. The advantages they provide while technical splitboard mountaineering are unparalleled, all while improving the ability to cut precise turns and maintain a playful riding style with no compromises.
